The 22-year-old actress - who's in a longterm relationship with actor Rupert Friend - has heeded the advice of her mother Sharman MacDonald, who advised her against depending on men for financial and emotional support.

She tells OK! magazine, "I'm from a very liberal upbringing. My mum's like, 'No, you get a job, you support yourself, never look to a man to support you.' I think getting married and having children would be lovely. But not right now or really any time soon."

The "Atonement" star plans to move to the south of England with Friend in a bid to avoid the constant media attention she receives in the city.

She says, "I'm moving out of the centre so that I can lead a more domestic life. I want to have local things like shops and nice pubs. Central London is just too busy. It appears while filming for the movie The Duchess, Keira Knightley had to face a strange problem. We all know she is skinny with a really really unfilled behind. So it seems while filming, she had a "butt of all jokes". What with the little bottomed out behind, she needed all the fillings and paddings to fit into those fluffy flowing costumes to portray the 18th century duchess. A source said: "Keira has one of the smallest behinds in the cast and so we had to make the flounces on the back of her gowns even bigger than normal. The smaller the bottom, the more abundant the ornamentation required.

"Add to that the large hoop undergarments known as panniers which widen the gowns, and each garment takes up a huge amount of space. We needed more room to accommodate all Keira's wardrobe so had no choice but to extend her trailer."

Well, I guess we have got to put all these troubles "behind" us and hope she gets that shining mannequin to show for her good work that is now behind her.

The 'Atonement' star doesn't believe her acting career will last forever and is planning to go back to school to study a subject that will help her make a living.

Keira said: "I think acting is a profession that gets blown up and blown down in an instant, and that's cool and for me, that's what I find beautiful about it.

"It's not going to last forever, so at some point I will have to move on and I'll do something else, and that's fine. I haven't got a clue what it is, but when I do know, I'll go back to university. I'll study something and I'll become it."

The 22-year-old actress also revealed she plans to work a lot less in 2008.

She explained: "I've been working too much. The other weekend I worked 32 hours straight. You should work to live, not live to work. Frankly, I think balancing life and work, when you are on a film set, is impossible."
